When it comes to tabletop gaming in San Antonio, Heroes’ Retreat is without equal. Visit us to enjoy food, beer, and your favorite games with friendly people. Our tables and wargame terrain are free to use, and we carry a wide variety of models, games, and hobby supplies.

In Memoriam
Heroes’ Retreat continues operation in loving memory of our late founder, Kevin Rhodes. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend to many. Our store and our community of gamers and hobbyists were very important to him, just as he was important to all of us. We honor him by bringing his vision to life everyday.
Kevin’s spirit lives on in every game you enjoy with us.
LEGENDS OF OLD
Heroes’ started in May of 2019. We began in a smaller suite and have since outgrown it in our desire to bring the best store to our customers. That new location, the Bunker, opened in Wonderlands Mall in 2020, and brought with it our dedicated community.
THE QUEST CONTINUES
We plan to expand and build up the community in this area, as well as looking into building a second storefront to grow the community as a whole. We want to be the best in the nation, and the only way to do that is to bring the best games and products to all of our customers now and in the future.
